Quick Overview:
Tesla
launching it's first of its revolutionary electric car in June, 2012.
Designed and styled by Franz Von Holzhausen, named as Whitestar during
its research phase. Powered by a lithium-ion battery and running on
"Three-phase four-pole induction motor with a copper rotor". Generating
700+hp in performance RAVEN trim(Feels like a supercar😨). Amazingly
with the best in class, it offers 0.23Cp aerodynamics drag which is best
at this time.
Front sight:
In
2016, front of S made looked similar to X by removing black nose cone
and improved aerodynamics with it. Adaptive LED on the front. You can
fit Tesla Model S with massive 19" alloy(Everyone wants 21" but nobody
gets😏). Glass roof is provided up there where you can increase headroom
to infinity and take some Vitamin-D.
Interior Insights:
Entering
Model S you'll notice the pop-out handles coming out of the door.
Automatic adjustment of steering and driver side mirror saved in
profiles. It gets two 17" screen one for central console and one behind
the steering for driver information. You get numerous features on these
screens which you won't explore it fully till the vehicle get dead.
Premium
seat materials on offer where you get luxurious sedan feel. Minimalist
design cover up-there will get you to fall in love in Model S. MCU
version has been upgraded in recent year which fixes the bug and fastens
the centre console. Where you can control all the features of the car
from the console.
But it doesn't have
in-between seats glass holder (Everyone drinks coffee😐). While in the
back seat passenger can feel adequate knee room and Ok-Ok headroom.
while the third passenger will feel comfortable because there is no
tunnel under the floor.
Driver's View:
Pressing
accelerator and brake pedal you'll activate the launch control where
you drive SpaceX rockets from there(Zooooop). The ludicrous mode will
give the max.performance out of the motor and battery. You get adaptive
cruise (Autopilot) which uses Camera on the windshield, an ultrasonic
acoustic location sensor and front looking radar will cover the 360deg
of the car and drive you miles and miles away. Steering around corners
is sharp. Memorized air-suspension let's adjust itself when needed. But
as nothing is perfect there are few things which bother the driver like
blind spot created by A-pillar, bat rear window glass, Tire noise inside
the cabin.
Charging, batteries:
100kwh
battery pack is now on offer which charges in 45 minutes up to 80% in
Tesla Charger while three-pin takes 1 hour to charge for 21-22miles. The
lithium-ion cells are supplied by Panasonic NCR18650B stored underneath
the floor. Eight years or 1.25,000 miles battery guarantee is offered
by Tesla. AWD will take you 0-60 miles in 2.3sec and also helps you take
traction on the road.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely it is! But some features like Autopilot may need suitable infrastructure and good connectivity of internet (which is I guess already present in India having connectivity of 4G). Thank you for reading
